1. Are the jackets a one time use or are they reusable?
All of the jackets are reusable after inflation. The CO2 cartridge is good for one inflation only and must be replaced.
2. Can the C02 cartridges be refilled?
No, they can only be used once, then need to be replaced
3. Where can I get a replacement CO2 cartridge?
We supply new C02 cartridges for a small fee.
4. How do I avoid false inflations? What if I forget to unhook the jacket before I get off the motorcycle?
At times you may forget to unhook the lanyard from the anchoring cable. The lanyard has some slack and it takes 25-35 pounds (lbs) of pull force to deploy the airbag system leaving enough room to minimize false inflations.
5. What parts of the body does the jacket or gilet protect?
The jacket protects the shoulder and elbow conventionally and the airbag saves neck, ribs, coccyx and spine.
Is the Airbag Jacket washable?
Yes but prior to washing the airbag jacket, the air cushioning system itself needs to be removed.
Once washed and dried the air cushioning system can be re-inserted into the jacket.
